I normally don’t do new years resolutions because I like to think that when I feel the need for change I implement it immediately… unfortunately this isn’t always the case

But from today I want to stop thinking and acting like I’ve got no free time and that there are endless things that I’ve got to be doing… It’s made me antisocial and even moody to an extent and rather than helping me to get more done it’s hindering any progress

So my resolution of sorts is to take some proper time out for Allah, and family and friends, and possibly even a book

That’s the attitude I’ve been faced with a little bit recently … seeing as I’m not a muslim woman I need some help from my sisters fastish please!! Please please rebuke the aforementioned quote bigtime because when I tried to argue otherwise it didn’t work very well and it doesn’t help that I’m a guy in a boys school either…

I know I’ve been back for almost 3 weeks now *I think* … I thought I’d better get a post up! Coming back from SL/Umrah meant a week of rest for me and then I just got plain lazy, and there’s also the whole thing with sorting out the new school and looking for clothes for 6th form. I’m back Alhamulillah! I’ll get a proper post up very soonish inshaAllah- I had the most amazing trip I could have asked for- a week in SriLanka with family and then 2 days in Medina and 5 days in Makkah to do Umrah- and I feel the immense urge to document it! SubhanAllah/Alhamdulillah/Allahu Akbar it was amazing; I’ve got photos and everything! But first I need a tidge bit of time to relax
